Jet Airways to launch another Mumbai-Colombo flight from November 5

MUMBAI: Private carrier Jet Airways today said it will launch another flight to Colombo from here starting November 5, in addition to the existing one, to meet the growing traffic demand on the sector.

The airline has introduced an all-inclusive return fare of Rs 17,000 for the proposed flight and the offer is valid till August 31, Jet Airways said in a release.

Jet Airways flight 9W 252 will depart from Mumbai at 1805 hrs and arrive into Colombo at 2035 hrs (local time). The return flight 9W 251 will depart Colombo at 2135 hrs (LT) and arrive Mumbai at 0015 hrs, it said.

The new evening flight complements the late night flight from Mumbai to Colombo, it said adding Jet Airways is the only airline to operate two flights a day to the island nation.

The airline will offer premiere and economy service offering passengers an in-flight entertainment, as well as delectable cuisine and convenient schedules, it added.
