Jet Airways introduces a booking feature called "FareLock"

MUMBAI: Jet Airways on Friday introduced a booking feature called " FareLock", allowing customers to retain a select fare for a limited period before confirming the purchase at a later date.

FareLock is applicable for flights across the Jet Airways’ network, a statement said. Its available on the airline’s online platforms, its website, the mobile site and the mobile app.

Once a customer selects the FareLock option, they will need to pay a nominal fee of Rs 350 for a domestic ticket and Rs 700 for an international ticket to lock the available fare.

They can then return to any of the airline's online platforms within the next 72 hours to purchase the tickets and confirm their booking at the pre-selected fare.
