Jet Airways advises passengers to check-in early

'In view of enhanced security measures implemented at all airports by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security, Jet Airways has requested all its guests to check-in early'

MUMBAI: Private carrier Jet Airways today advised its passengers to check-in two hours prior to their flight departure due to an enhanced security and holiday rush at airports.

"In view of enhanced security measures implemented at all airports by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security, Jet Airways has requested all its guests to check-in early," an airline statement said here.

Guests are advised to report two hours prior to the departure of the flight which would help them avoid congestion at airports and also help in timely departure of flights, the airline said.

Aviation regulator DGCA has mandated airlines to close check-in counters 45-minutes prior to the flight departures.
