MUMBAI: IRB Infrastructure Developers on Tuesday said it has emerged as the successful bidder for construction of a greenfield airport in Maharashtra.
Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) has chosen IRB Infrastructure Developers as the "selected bidder" for design, built, finance and operation of a greenfield airport project in Sindhudurg district (Maharashtra), IRB Infra said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange
As per provisions of the bid, the company is required to form a special purpose vehicle (SPV), it added.
The project is having a concession period of 95 years with construction period of 18 months from the date of fulfillment of conditions precedent.
Shares of IRB Infra were trading at Rs 200, up 8.96 over previous close on the BSE.
