Inquiry into TDP MP J C Dinakar Reddy incident: Ashok Gajapati Raju

NEW DELHI: As all Indian airlines ban TDP MP J C Dinakar Reddy from flying, aviation minister Ashok Gajapati Raju has said that an inquiry will be ordered in the incident.

"I will get the entire incident at Vizag Airport enquired into to find out the exact details and ensure that lawful outcomes follow," Raju said on Twitter.

IndiGo and Air India had banned TDP MP Reddy from flying as he created a ruckus at Visakhapatnam airport after reaching late for his flight. He eventually flew in the same flight.

All other airlines also banned the MP today.

Reddy would be the second MP to be banned from flying after airlines banned Shiv Sena Ravindra Gaikwad for beating Air India ground staff three months ago.
