Budget airline IndiGo has started new daily non-stop flights from Hyderabad to Jaipur and additional new non-stop flight from Hyderabad to Bangalore with same aircraft continuation to Kochi from September 16.

HYDERABAD: Budget airline IndiGo has started new daily non-stop flights from Hyderabad to Jaipur and additional new non-stop flight from Hyderabad to Bangalore with same aircraft continuation to Kochi from September 16.
The airline has taken delivery of a new aircraft A320 which will be operated on this route.
"After launching operations in August 2006, IndiGo has now carried over 2.3 million passengers on over 18,000 flights and this number is increasing every day. We are further consolidating our presence by strengthening our connectivity in the cities we already serve", IndiGo President and CEO Bruce Ashby said.
With its 12 aircraft, the airline now operates 88 daily flights flying to 15 destinations.
IndiGo will take delivery of three additional new A320 aircraft this year, taking the fleet size to 15 by the end of 2007. It plans to serve approximately 30 Indian cities by 2010 with a fleet of approximately 40 A320s, Ashby added. PTI
