InterGlobe Aviation, the parent company of IndiGo, on Monday announced a change in its finance leadership, appointing Deputy Chief Financial Officer Kiran Thadimarri as its new CFO with effect from July 28.

The move follows the redesignation of current CFO Gaurav Negi, who will transition to the role of Advisor to the Managing Director from the close of business on July 27, the company said in a stock exchange filing.

Thadimarri, a chartered accountant, has more than 24 years of experience in finance, spanning controllership, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), treasury, capital raising, taxation, audit and investor relations.

Before joining InterGlobe Aviation, he held leadership roles at InterGlobe Enterprises, B2B ecommerce platform Udaan, where he served as CFO, healthcare technology company Genworks Health, where he was co-founder and CFO, and spent over 13 years at General Electric.

The board approved the leadership change at its meeting held on Monday. The company did not specify a reason for Negi's transition, saying only that he has been redesignated as Advisor to the Managing Director.

Thadimarri will also serve as the company's Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) from July 28.
