IndiGo ops to remain unaffected: CEO

On Wednesday, airline promoter Rakesh Gangwal had sought help from SEBI in ensuring that corporate governance norms are being followed.

New Delhi: A day after the tiff between two IndiGo promoters came out in the open, the airline CEO Ronojoy Dutta has assured its employees that the airline’s growth plan remains unaffected due to these differences.

“The issues between them will eventually get sorted out but I want to stress that these issues have nothing to do with the airline and its functioning. Our mission, direction and growth strategy remains unchanged and firmly in place. As such, it is very important that we all remain focused on running a high performance airline,” read a missive by Dutta and seen by ET.

On Wednesday, airline promoter Rakesh Gangwal had sought help from SEBI in ensuring that corporate governance norms are being followed.


He had alleged that board decisions and resolutions on critical matters being implemented without basic governance protocols and laws being followed.

It had also alleged that Rahul Bhatia’s Interglobe Enterprise has more powers in appointing top executives and chairman of the company.
