IndiGo operations to stabilise from today, no planned cancellations

IndiGo, India’s largest carrier by market share, has been cancelling flights since Saturday due to shortage of pilots.

After three days of disruptions with operations due to shortage of pilots, IndiGo on Monday said that operations will be stabilised from Tuesday and there will be no planned cancellations.

Indi-Go, India’s largest carrier by market share, has been cancelling flights since Saturday due to shortage of pilots and had also announced planned cancellations of 32 flights on Monday. IndiGo operates 1,300 flights daily in domestic as well as international sectors and passengers booked on these cancelled flights were adjusted on other flights. An executive of the airline said that airline operations have stabilised and there would not be cancellations from Tuesday.
