IndiGo launches maiden flight to Dimapur from Kolkata

MUMBAI: IndiGo, India's biggest carrier by market share, Wednesday launched its maiden flight to Dimapur, Nagaland from Kolkata.

“Naga-landed at @IndiGo6E’s newest destination Dimapur. 1st ever daily flight to Nagaland in 50 years,” the airline’s president Aditya Ghosh posted from his Twitter account.

The same aircraft will operate to Delhi and connect Dimapur and Delhi (via Kolkata). Dimapur is IndiGo’s 33rd domestic and 38th overall destination.
