IndiGo launches five new domestic flights

NEW DELHI: Budget carrier IndiGo on Friday said it has added five more daily flights on its domestic route.

The new flights started Dec 20 are in the Kolkata-Raipur, Kolkata-Indore, Raipur-Indore, Mumbai-Raipur and Indore-Mumbai sectors.

"It is in line with our efforts to lay a strong foundation for the airline to achieve its forthcoming visions that primarily include offering convenient flying options to travellers across the country," Aditya Ghosh, president, IndiGo, said in a statement.

The low cost carrier (LCC) is India's second largest airline with a market share of 19.8 percent. It started international service in September.
