IndiGo launches ‘Cabs with IndiGo’ airport transfer service across Indian cities

IndiGo on Thursday announced an airport transfer service, 'Cabs with IndiGo', that allows customers to book transportation to and from airports across Indian cities.

The service will be offered via the IndiGo website and mobile app, building on IndiGo's current online travel offerings such as hotels and sightseeing services. Members of IndiGo's BluChip loyalty programme will earn 5 BluChips for every ₹100 spent on a reservation through 'Cabs with IndiGo', the airline said in a statement.

Customers can book cabs from ₹49, with fixed pricing for pre-booked rides, no fees for cancellations when making reservations prior to the scheduled pick-up time, and a 30-minute driver wait time.

'Cabs with IndiGo' will also help resolve challenges such as drivers or riders not being available to pick-up customers, and issues with last minute driver cancellations and surge pricing, the airline said.

'Cabs with IndiGo' is available for immediate booking through IndiGo's digital channels, the airline added.
