IndiGo inducts 16th aircraft, expands route network

IndiGo, the low-fare domestic airline will operate its 16th brand new Airbus A320 aircraft to further expand its route network with the introduction of six new flights and the addition of Ahmedabad as its 17th destination from January 29th onwards.

DELHI: IndiGo, the low-fare domestic airline will operate its 16th brand new Airbus A320 aircraft to further expand its route network with the introduction of six new flights and the addition of Ahmedabad as its 17th destination from January 29th onwards.

IndiGo will now connect Ahmedabad to Kolkata with a daily nonstop flight in both directions. In addition, IndiGo will connect Bhubaneshwar to Kolkata and Mumbai with daily nonstop flights to both cities, in both directions.

Passengers will also be able to fly between Mumbai and Kolkata with a same-aircraft connection, stopping in Bhubaneshwar.

With the launch of these new services, IndiGo will operate 112 daily flights connecting 17 destinations.
