According to the airline, on-time performance has reached 91% across the network. This marks a sharp improvement from the previous day, when IndiGo operated around 1,650 flights with about 75% punctuality.
The carrier said the full network is now back in place, and all cancellations in today’s schedule were executed yesterday to avoid last-minute changes. The airline is also working to accelerate refund and logistics clearances for passengers affected since the beginning of the disruption.
IndiGo has processed ₹827 crore in refunds for cancellations up to December 15, with the remaining payments underway. To support stranded travellers between December 1 and 7, the airline arranged more than 9,500 hotel rooms and nearly 10,000 cabs and buses. Over 4,500 bags have already been delivered to passengers, and the airline expects to complete the remaining deliveries in the next 36 hours.
In a statement, an IndiGo spokesperson said, "We remain committed to assisting our customers and addressing their queries and requests on a war footing." The spokesperson added, "We would like to reiterate that all our operations are fully compliant with the relevant FDTL norms and safety regulations, as they have been throughout the last two decades."
