In a statement after its latest review meeting with the airline on January 19, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said, “As per latest meeting on 19 Jan, IndiGo reported adequate pilot availability against projected operational requirements.”

The DGCA said it will continue to keep a close watch on the airline. “Continue to closely monitor the airline’s operations,” the regulator said in its update.
Earlier this month, the aviation regulator penalised IndiGo with $2.45 million fine, issued warnings to senior executives and directed the airline to remove the head of its operations control from his duties after the disruptions.
