Bomb scare on Varanasi-bound IndiGo flight at Delhi airport, passengers evacuated
A Varanasi-bound IndiGo flight received a bomb threat at Indira Gandhi International Airport on Tuesday morning, leading authorities to evacuate passengers and initiate a search operation, officials reported.

Anti-sabotage checks are ongoing, and so far, nothing suspicious has been discovered, they added.

According to the officials, the threat was discovered written on a piece of paper in the lavatory as the IndiGo 6E2211 flight was preparing for departure.

The pilot found the note in the lavatory, which read "bomb blast @ 30 minutes," and subsequently notified the control room.

There were 176 passengers on board who were deboarded, sources indicated.

The aircraft was moved to an isolated area, and security personnel conducted a thorough search.
