India's largest airline IndiGo on Wednesday said it was experiencing intermittent issues with its core reservation platform, affecting some customers' ability to access online services, including ticket bookings and web check-in.

The airline, which has more than 65% of India's domestic aviation market, said its teams were working with a partner to resolve the issue on priority. IndiGo did not identify the partner or specify the cause of the disruption.

Earlier in the day, Reuters reported that its journalists in at least three Indian cities were unable to book tickets through IndiGo's website, which displayed a "no data available" message while searching for flights. A separate travel booking website also flagged a technical problem with the airline's systems.

Several customers complained on X, as per the report, that they were unable to book flights or complete online check-in through IndiGo's website and app.

IndiGo advised customers requiring immediate travel assistance to contact its call centre, while those travelling later were asked to try accessing the website or app again after some time.

The disruption comes months after IndiGo faced intense scrutiny following widespread operational problems in December, when poor pilot roster planning led to around 4,500 flight cancellations, stranding tens of thousands of passengers and disrupting air travel across India.
