IndiGo appoints Gaurav Negi as CFO replacing Jiten Chopra

Prior to joining IndiGo, Negi spent 22 years with General Electric Company, where he was part of their Global Leadership programmes in finance and executive management, said the InterGlobe Aviation's statement that was posted on BSE.

InterGlobe Aviation Ltd, which operates India’s biggest carrier IndiGo has appoined Gaurav Negi as Chief Financial Officer effective April 01, 2022.

Negi is IndiGo’s fourth finance chief in six years.

“Jiten Chopra, IndiGo’s CFO has submitted his resignation to pursue other interests,” a statement said.


Gaurav Negi, currently IndiGo’s senior vice president and head of governance, risk and compliance will assume the position of CFO at IndiGo.

At GE, where he worked before joining IndiGo in December 2021, Negi had held positions across multiple countries and industries. His last position at GE was as its Asia Pacific CFO for On Shore Wind, a segment of GE Renewable Energy.
