User Backlash
Past Incidents
It is worth noting that this is not the first time when the airline has been in the news for the wrong reasons. In January 2024, Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) issued a notice to Indigo after a passenger had to go through one of the 'worst experiences' with Indigo airlines as she was sold a sandwich that allegedly had a worm wriggling in it.
IndiGo's reputation has taken a hit following the recent incident, with passengers and authorities alike calling for greater accountability and stricter adherence to hygiene standards. As one of India's leading airlines, IndiGo faces the challenge of restoring trust and ensuring a safe and pleasant travel experience for its passengers.
