IndiGo adds six new routes from Navi Mumbai International Airport through ATR ops

India's domestic carrier IndiGo on Tuesday announced new direct flights from Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) to six destinations to enhance connectivity. The new direct routes to Ahmedabad, Diu, Goa, Rajkot, Belgaum, and Kolhapur will be effective from March 29, 2026.

The airline will operate its ATR aircraft on these routes, further strengthening its operations from NMIA and enhancing regional air connectivity in the region. IndiGo has opened ticket bookings for the flights through all channels, including its official website, mobile app, and through travel agents.

However, the schedule of the flights on these new routes is subject to regulatory approvals. IndiGo operates ATR 72-600 aircraft in its fleet, with a seating capacity of 78 passengers.


"These services build on IndiGo’s growing presence at Navi Mumbai, offering convenient schedules, greater flexibility, and seamless air travel to and from the airport," IndiGo said in a release.

The Gurugram-based airline continues to play a key role in driving regional aviation growth, supporting tourism and local economies by expanding its ATR network. It enables faster connectivity between tier-2, tier-3 cities and major metropolitan hubs across India.

IndiGo operates a fleet of more than 400 aircraft and operates more than 2200 flights daily. India's largest airline connects more than 95 domestic and more than 40 international destinations.
