NEW DELHI: As COVID is set to impact the Aviation sector in more ways than one, the Indian Aviation Academy (IAA) - Airports Authority of India’s institute involved in aviation training and research - signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with business school Management Development Institute (MDI) to find ways to prepare aviation sector for the future.

“The MoU will promote inter-disciplinary studies, shared values and research and development in aviation by IAA and MDI,” the institute said in a statement.

The collaboration commences with launch of a course in “Airport Strategic Operations” for aviation entrants, said the institute.


The Institute said that aviation is a complex, volatile and dynamic industry employing highly skilled and enriched Human Resource.

“Bridging the gap between learning outcomes and industry requirement by innovative, quality courses will be the greatest enabler of aviation resurgence (post COVID),” the institute said.
