India air passenger traffic rises nearly 19 pc in June

Akasa Air, which started business in August last year, surpassed SpiceJet with 4.9% market share against SpiceJet’s 4.4%.

Indian airlines carried 1.24 crore domestic passengers in June, according to data released by aviation regulator DGCA.
