IBS ties up with Malaysia Airlines

The IBS group, a global leader in new-generation IT solutions to the travel, transportation and logistics industry, has added another client for its iFly technology platform, tying up with Malaysia Airlines.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The IBS group, a global leader in new-generation IT solutions to the travel, transportation and logistics industry, has added another client for its iFly technology platform, tying up with Malaysia Airlines.

MASholidays, the specialized travel and leisure arm of Malaysia Airlines, has opted for the iFly Tour, a product under the iFly solution suite to help it increase its market reach using an online system that is fully integrated with the real-time inventory of flights, hotel rooms and other products.

IBS chairman and CEO V K Mathews said ancillary revenue was an important source of income for airlines in the current economic context, and that iFly would enable MASholidays to realize this income.

Malaysia Airlines��� commercial director Dato Rashid Khan said the solution would improve back-office administration and booking process flow, besides upgrading overall service to customers.
