Hindi version of NAL website launched

BANGALORE: The Hindi version of National Aeronautics Limited (NAL) website was on Wednesday launched by Vice-Admiral (retired) Raman Puri.

The website was created by ICAST, the information centre at NAL, and comprises around 15 second and third level pages including Research and Development activities.

It also includes an interactive "NAL Today" section in addition to a few pages about the indigenously built aircraft Saras, Hansa.

"Work is on to incorporate the Hindi version of all NAL web pages which runs to 2,000 to 3000 pages", ICAST Head Dr I R N Goudar said.

"We have adopted Unicode for this purpose enabling universal accessibility", ICAST Deputy Head Poornima Narayan said.

By logging onto www.nail.res.in, one could access the Hindi version of the website.
