GVK to bid for for airports to be privatised by government

GVK Power & Infrastructure, which operates the Mumbai and Bangalore airports in the country, is going to bid for all four airport to be privatised by the government

NEW DELHI: GVK Power & Infrastructure, which operates the Mumbai and Bangalore airports in the country, is going to bid for all four airport to be privatised by the government.

The government is looking at privatising airports in Kolkata, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Jaipur.

The company's vice chairman G V Sanjay Reddy also said that the company is looking to raise funds to repay airport debt.

He, however, declined to comment on possible IPO of its airport company.
