GoFirst to connect Mumbai, Hyderabad and B'luru to new Goa Airport from January

Starting January 5, 2023, airline GoFirst is set to connect 42 flights to the new Goa International Airport in Mopa, North Goa. The airport in the area is set to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 11, 2022.

In a release, the airline announced that they would still be operating from Goa's existing airport, but are looking to increase connectivity to the coastal state by adding flights to the new airport as well.

“As we expand our network in leisure destinations, Goa is an extremely important destination for us. We are pleased to fortify our presence and this new addition will further reflect our unflinching commitment to providing customers with a promising flying experience,” Kaushik Khona, CEO of GO FIRST said in the release.


The airline is set to fly non-stop daily flights to and from Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
