GoAir to start more flights
Private carrier GoAir is inducting additional flights in its existing network to attract more fliers during the festive season.
GoAir would double its flight operations from month-end, the airline said in a statement. Increase of additional flights would mean that GoAir would have 561 commercial flights per week against 259 now.
In September, the airline recorded a 81 per cent load factor, which is in tune with the 80 per cent plus load factor that it is witnessing in the past few months.
During the second quarter of this financial year, GoAir's passenger traffic volume increased by 123 per cent, it said. In the first quarter, the airline recorded 93 per cent growth in passenger traffic growth, the release added.
