GoAir posts 85 pc load factor on two sectors

Private air carrier GoAir on Wednesday said it has registered load factors of more than 85 per cent in May on its Mumbai-Ahmedabad and Delhi-Ahmedabad sectors.

MUMBAI: Private air carrier GoAir on Wednesday said it has registered load factors of more than 85 per cent in May on its Mumbai-Ahmedabad and Delhi-Ahmedabad sectors.

"The advantage for the flyers is the timings of both the sectors'. Flights in the evening has made passengers prefer GoAir," a statement from the Wadia Group-promoted airline said.

The airline's Managing Director Jeh Wadia said, "Ahmedabad has been one of the growing sectors and we have been registering more than 85 per cent load factor on the routes between Mumbai-Ahmedabad and Delhi-Ahmedabad."

"These routes offer passengers from all walks of life the benefit of travelling at convenient timings and also enjoy true value fares," he added.

Presently, GoAir operates 59 flights a day across 11 destinations.
