GoAir flights in and out of Delhi from Terminal 2
This arrangement is a temporary move to ease the pressure of traffic at Terminal 1, so that the expansion works can be carried out at Terminal 1.
"In order to facilitate the growth of IGI Airport, GoAir has mutually agreed with DIAL to move its entire operations from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 from October 29, 2017, until the completion of the expansion of Terminal 1,” said a release from Delhi airport and GoAir.
This arrangement is a temporary move to ease the pressure of traffic at Terminal 1, so that the expansion works can be carried out at Terminal 1.
The Terminal 1 is set to be expanded from the current capacity of 20 million to 40 million per annum. The expansion process will encompass all major areas of the airport i.e. Landside, Terminal and Airside and will be completed within four years.
