GoAir denies talks with Paramount

Wadia-group promoted budget air-carrier, GoAir, on Saturday refuted reports that the airline was in discussions with Tamil Nadu-based Paramount Airways for a possible M&A deal.

MUMBAI: Wadia-group promoted budget air-carrier, GoAir, on Saturday refuted reports that the airline was in discussions with Tamil Nadu-based Paramount Airways for a possible M&A deal.

"In the light of recent speculative press reports, GoAir refutes any contact with Paramount Airlines and refuses to comment on market speculation," GoAir said in statement here.

Earlier, it was reported in a section of the media that the M Thiagarajan-led all business-class airline, Paramaount was in talks with Jeh Wadia's budget airline, GoAir for a possible buy-out.
