GoAir denies talks with Paramount

MUMBAI: The Jeh Wadia-led GoAir on Wednesday said no meeting or discussion has been held with Paramount’s management or shareholders for any kind of alliance, merger, sale or financial participation between the two parties.

Describing all reports of Paramount Airways picking up a stake in GoAir as “pure speculation and without any foundation whatsoever,” the private carrier said it was going ahead with its expansion plans. “

GoAir would like to reaffirm full implementation of its expansion plans. As shared earlier, raising the current fleet to 18 and thereafter to 34 remains,” a company release said.
