GoAir CCO Manish Raniga quits

Raniga had joined the low fare carrier after serving as vice-president for commercial strategy at Jet Airways. He has also worked with Etihad.

Barely two months after he joined GoAir, its chief commercial officer (CCO) Manish Raniga has quit, Financial Express reported.

Raniga had joined the low fare carrier after serving as vice-president for commercial strategy at Jet Airways. He has also worked with Etihad. Before Etihad, Raniga was senior manager, transformation, at Macquarie Group, Sydney, Australia.

The news of his exit comes at a time when the race for dominating the Indian skies is getting fiercer and airlines are looking forward to expanding their market share.


GoAir had appointed former EasyJet executive Cornelis Vrieswijk as new CEO in June after former CEO Wolfgang Prock-Schauer quit in December over disagreements with the promoters. He now serves as the COO of IndiGo.
