Tata-owned Air India issued an advisory on Tuesday night, saying, "Heavy fog and reduced visibility are forecast for Delhi and parts of Northern India tomorrow morning. These conditions may have a cascading impact on flight schedules across our network."
Dense fog in Delhi-NCR has significantly impacted flight operations in the last few weeks. As visibility in the area is improving, Delhi Airport has recorded fewer flight disruptions since the start of 2026.
Air India has advised passengers to check their updated flight status as the airline is closely monitoring the situation and has taken some proactive measures to minimise flight disruptions.

Kolkata flight disruptions
IndiGo issued a travel advisory for Kolkata as the airline was forced to revise flight timings due to low visibility.SpiceJet also issued an advisory for Kolkata as bad weather and poor visibility is likely to impact all departures and arrivals and their consequential flights at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport.
IndiGo issued travel advisories for several other Indian cities, including Jaipur, Bhopal, Guwahati and Agartala due to fog conditions.
"Low visibility and fog over Kolkata, Jaipur, Indore, Udaipur and Bhopal may impact flight schedules. We are closely monitoring the weather and doing our best to get you where you need to be, safely and smoothly," it said in an advisory, requesting passengers to check flight status.
The airline is prioritising safety and compliance with visibility requirements. "Once the weather settles, operations will gradually stabilise, and flights will depart as planned," IndiGo said.
