False alarm forces AI plane to make emergency landing
A Jammu-bound Air India plane with 122 passengers onboard was forced to land on Wednesday under "emergency conditions."
"As soon as the flight AI-821 Delhi-Jammu took off, there was an alarm in the cockpit which was later found to be false. So the pilot decided to return back," an Air India official said.
The flight landed safely at 1.15 PM at Terminal-3 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport here and engineers inspected the aircraft.
"Since no problem was found in the plane, it was cleared for take-off immediately," the official said.
