Etihad Airways to start flights to Ahmedabad

The airline will offer 1,000 seats a week on the Abu Dhabi-Ahmedabad sector, which is its ninth destination in the country.

MUMBAI: The Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways today said it will introduce flights to Ahmedabad from November.

The airline will offer 1,000 seats a week on the Abu Dhabi-Ahmedabad sector, which is its ninth destination in the country.

"We continue to build strength and depth to our global network and the addition of Ahmedabad will make significant contributions to traffic flows to Abu Dhabi and beyond," Etihad Airways President and Chief Executive James Hogan said in a release.
