Delhi Airport was the ninth busiest airport in the world in 2024, according to data from Airports Council International. The airport, which clocked a footfall of 77,820,834 in 2024, is one position behind Chicago Airport.

India’s busiest airport climbed from 10th position in 2023, clocking an annual passenger growth of 7.8%.
