Emirates to launch A380 services in India on July 21

The airline said EK 500 and EK 501 between Dubai and Mumbai will be up-scaled to a three-class A380 aircraft with capacity increase.

MUMBAI: Gulf carrier Emirates will launch A380 services to India on July 21, close to two months after Singapore Airlines brings the jumbo jet to India tomorrow.

" EK 500 and EK 501 between Dubai and Mumbai will be up-scaled to a three-class A380 aircraft, representing with a capacity increase of 2,127 seats per week in each direction," the airline said in a statement.

In addition, Emirates will deploy larger Boeing 777 aircraft to Delhi and Hyderabad to serve growing demand, it added. ms
