Electronic Baggage Tractor crashes into parked Air India plane

The EBT was carrying luggage of passengers seated aboard the aircraft and crashed into one of the engines. An Air India spokesman said all passengers were however safe

An electric baggage tow tractor collided with a parked Air India Boeing 787 aircraft at the Delhi airport delaying a flight to Shanghai by 45 minutes.

The EBT was carrying luggage of passengers seated aboard the aircraft and crashed into one of the engines. An Air India spokesman said all passengers were however safe.

Air India has launched an enquiry into the incident. The ground staff involved have been derostered.
