Direct flight from Delhi to Mizoram to begin from May 27

AIZAWL: The direct flight from Mizoram's lone Lengpui airport to Delhi will begin from May 27, an official statement today said.

This first ever direct flight between Delhi and Lengpui would be operated by a private airline.

The Boeing 737 flight, having capacity of 168 passengers, would take off from Delhi daily at 10 AM and land in Guwahati at 12.30 PM before reaching Lengpui at 2 PM, the statement said.

The return flight would halt at Guwahati again and reach Delhi at 6.30 PM, it added.
