DIAL says flight operations at Delhi airport normal

NEW DELHI: Delhi International Airports Ltd ( DIAL) said the flight operations at Delhi Airport are normal and there are no cancellations and delays.

"The failure in northern grid has disturbed the normal schedule of citizens of Delhi and other northern states. However, DIAL would like to confirm that all flight operations at IGIA are normal with no cancellations and delays. The power supply was restored to diesel generator systems instantaneously and has been running smoothly for the last 7 hours and will continue so until the normal supply is restored," a DIAL statement said.

Power supply across nine states of north India including Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan has been hit as the northern power transmission grid failed in the early hours of Monday.
