Dholera International Airport 80% complete; Aviation Minister targets October 2026 launch

Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu reviewed the progress of Dholera International Airport, announcing that nearly 80% of construction has been completed. The Centre is targeting operationalisation by September-October, subject to DGCA approvals. Designed as India's first Aerotropolis, the airport will integrate aviation with manufacturing, semiconductors, cargo, MRO facilities and high-speed rail connectivity, making it a key pillar of the Dholera Special Investment Region.
