DGCA gives flying permit to southern regional carrier Turbo Megha

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has issued a regional airline Permit to Turbo Megha- a south India- based regional carrier.

NEW DELHI: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation ( DGCA) has issued a regional airline Permit to Turbo Megha- a south India- based regional carrier.

"The permit issued to Turbo Megha just now. South based regional airline with ATR aircraft," a senior DGCA official told ET.

With this permission, Turbo Megha will be the third regional airline to get permission under the new government.

The airline will be based in the South of India and will operate a fleet of ATR aircraft.
