DGCA finds safety violations in Air Peagasus

The operator has suspended five pilots, suspension period ranges from seven days to three months, airline chief of flight safety has also been suspended.

NEW DELHI: The DGCA has found finds innumerable safety violations in Bengaluru-based regional carrier Air Peagasus.

The regulator has suspended five pilots and asks airline CMD to ensure that safety rules are followed.

"We have found severe safety violations in the airline. A large number of flights were found to be not following right predicted ute while landing," said a senior DGCA official, who did not want to be identified.

He added that duration of pilots suspended ranges between 7 days to three months.

The airline chief of flight safety has also been suspended.

The DGCA has also written a letter to the airline CMD asking him to ensure safety of operations.
