DGCA becomes headless again

The order had appointments of secretaries across departments but did not announce an incumbent at the DGCA.

NEW DELHI: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation ( DGCA) becomes headless again as the current DG has been transferred to labour ministry on promotion.

"M Sathwaty, DGCA, is being transferred to the ministry of labour and employment as officer in special duty with immediate effect. The officer will take charge as the secretary upon the super annuation of the current incumbent," said a government order issued today.

The order had appointments of secretaries across departments but did not announce an incumbent at the DGCA.

The aviation ministry has not given additional charge of the post to any new officer.
