NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court has refused to stay AirAsia India's commencement of commercial operations, permission for which was granted by the aviation regulator on Wednesday.
Rejecting a plea by the Federation of Indian Airlines, a bench of Chief Justice G Rohini and Justice Pradeep Nandrajog on Friday said there was no urgency as the validity of the air operator's permit will be subject to the outcome of the petition challenging the approvals being granted to AirAsia India. The petition is scheduled for hearing on July 11.
