The operator of Delhi International Airport, one of the world's busiest air hubs, said on Friday it would resume work to upgrade one of its runways after it was forced to cut short earlier efforts due to flight delays.

Delhi International Airport Limited, which is majority owned by GMR Airports, said the work would take place for three months from June 15 to upgrade a system that helps aircraft land safely in low-visibility conditions.
