Delhi Airport on Thursday issued an advisory as low visibility procedures were being followed due to dense fog in the city.

It said that all flight operations were currently normal, but asked passengers to contact the concerned airline to check the updated status of their flights.

The India Meteorological Department had issued a warning for dense fog on December 26, 27 and 28. The IMD has also forecast partly cloudy skies, with light to very light rain expected towards the evening or night.

Many parts of the national capital are expected to experience both smog and moderate fog. Some isolated areas experience dense fog during the early morning hours.
