CSIA airport bags Frost and Sullivan award

The Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) has bagged the `Aeronautical Excellence Airport of the Year' award from Frost and Sullivan.

MUMBAI: The Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) has bagged the `Aeronautical Excellence Airport of the Year' award from Frost and Sullivan.

The award has been given for its efforts in developing the aeronautical segment of the airport from among a host of other airports in the Asia Pacific region, a Mumbai International Airport release said on Monday.

One of the busiest airports in India and also in the Asia Pacific region, the CSIA is being upgraded to cater to 40 million passengers by 2012, the release said.
