Cebu Pacific Air flight makes emergency landing at Delhi airport

Source said that the flight was flying over Gujarat when complains of an unruly passengers was informed and the flight was diverted to New Delhi.

A Philippines-based Cebu Pacific Air flight between Dubai and Manila made an emergency landing at Delhi airport at 4.25 hours this morning due to an ‘emotionally unstable passenger’ on board.

The flight bearing no 5J 7945 was being operated by an Airbus 330-200 and departed from Delhi at 1545 hours.

Source said that the flight was flying over Gujarat when complains of an unruly passengers was informed and the flight was diverted to New Delhi.

Sources added that the lady passengers was unruly and was shouting even after the plane made an emergency landing in Delhi.

“Doctors at Delhi airport had to give her tranquilizers to calm her down,” said a source in the know.

This is a second emergency landing at Delhi airport in the current month. The earlier emergency landing was of a Turkish Airlines plane flying from Bangkok to Istanbul after a bomb scare on board.
