British Airways to operate Boeing 787-900 aircraft in the Delhi-London sector
The second operator to launch operations through Boeing 787-900 is likely to be Air Canada, which will start operations in November.

British Airways today announced to operate Boeing 787-900 aircraft in the Delhi-London sector starting October 25, 2015, making it the first operator to launch Boeing 787-900 operations in India.
The second operator to launch operations through Boeing 787-900 is likely to be Air Canada, which will start operations in November.
"The new aircraft will have 216 seats and an exclusive first class cabin for our passengers. India is the second largest market for us after the US and the Delhi-London route becomes the first route to see the launch of Boeing 787-900 in our global network," Moran Birger, regional commercial manager- south Asia, British Airways told ET.
The airline has also announced a 50% discount on economy class tickets for travel period starting October 25, 2015 till December 31, 2015. Discounts tickets for the travel can be booked between July 14, 2015 and July 16, 2015.
